– Homem insensato! A corrente aqui é forte.

Será provido do necessário.

- perguntavam.

The man whose life was inexplicable

There once was a man named Mojud. He lived in a town where he had gotten a job as a civil servant and all led to believe it would end his days as Inspector of weights and measures.

One day, when I was walking through the gardens of an old building next to their home, Khidr, the mysterious guide of the sufis, appeared to him, dressed in a bright green. So Khidr said:

-Bright prospects man! Quit your job and meet me by the River in three days.

And, so to speak, disappeared. Excited, Mojud sought his boss and told him I was going to break. Everyone in town soon heard of this fact and commented:

-Poor Mojud. Must have gone crazy.

But as there were many candidates for his post soon forgot him. The day marked Mojud met Khidr, who said:

-Tear your clothes and jump in the river. Maybe somebody save.

Mojud obeyed, though if you asked me if I wouldn't be mad. How he could swim, didn't drown but was floating adrift for a long stretch before a fisherman the take in your boat, saying:

-Foolish man! The current here is strong. You're trying to do?

-I don't know-answered Mojud.

-You're crazy, ' said the fisherman. -But I will take to my hut of reeds by the river and see what we can do for you.

When the fisherman discovered that Mojud was well instructed, went on to learn to read and write. In return, Mojud received food and helped the fisherman in his work. A few months later Khidr reappeared, this time by the ' bed, and said to him:

– Get up and let the fisherman. Will be provided with necessary.

Dressed like a fisherman, Mojud immediately left the cabin and wandered aimlessly until you find a road. At the crack of dawn saw a farmer riding a donkey.

-Looking for work? -asked the farmer. -I need a man to help me bring some shopping.

Mojud accompanied him. Worked for the farmer for nearly two years, when she learned a lot about agriculture, but little about other things.

One afternoon, when I was bagging wool, Khidr made new appearance and said:

-Let this job, please contact City of Mosul and spent their savings to take fur merchant.

Mojud obeyed. In Mosul, became known as a fur merchant, without ever seeing Khidr during the three years in which he held his new craft. Had gathered a considerable amount and was thinking of buying a House when Khidr appeared to her and said:

-Give me your money, stay away from this city towards distant Samarkand and there spend working for a grocer.

That's what made '. Soon began to show indisputable signs of enlightenment. Healed the sick and serving your next both at the warehouse and in the leisure hours. His knowledge of the mysteries of life taken increasingly deep. Priests, philosophers and others visited and indagavam:

-With whom you studied?

-It's hard to say-answer Mojud.

His disciples asked:

-As he started his career?

-As a small public-employee replied.

-And you left your job to devote himself to automortificação?

– Do not. Just let him.

They could not understand it. People sought to write the story of your life.

-What were you in your life? -asked.

-I threw myself into a river, I took a fisherman and, in the middle of a night, I left behind a hut of reeds. After that I became a farmer's helper. While I was bagging wool, I changed my mind and went to Mosul, where I took Trapper. There I saved some money, but the dei. I walked to Samarkand, where I worked for a grocer. And here I am now.

– But this unexplained behavior does not clarify in any way their strange gifts and wonderful examples-said his biographers.

-That's-said Mojud.

So the biographers made a wonderful story and exciting to take the figure of Mojud, because all the Saints must have their stories, and the story should be according to the listener's curiosity, not with the realities of life.

And no one is allowed to speak of Khidr directly. That's why this story is not true. Is the representation of a life. The real life of one of the greatest Sufi Saints.
